Phonetic Typing

Homophones - are words that sound the same but have different meanings. Sometimes these homophones can be confused when writing.
Led/Lead both have the same sound, but they have different meaning.
1. He was the drum major who lead/led the parade.
2. Old buildings may have lead/led in the paint on the walls.

Lead is a metal.
Led is the past tense of the verb, To Lead (pronounced (leed).
